Semoweb.com is one of the tiny vps provide, recently I checked their post on WHT and placed an order for 768MB RAM vps. Somehow 2CO put hold on my payment to them and therefore it took almost 10 hours to get VPS information from them.
Disclaimer: I’m no way affiliated with semoweb, this review was perform on VPS purchased for personal use.
Usually I purchase tinny VPS to hold my backups, since I believe that I get what I pay, therefore I do not trust on the uptime of those tiny VPSes to hold my websites 🙂
Basics:
The VPS is based in Los Angeles, USA, and comes with 768MB RAM, 1GB Burstable RAM, 4 CPU core, 80GB Disk Space and 3000GB Bandwidth, in price $5.99/Month.
Setup:
VPS comes with CentOS6.2 installed, however I reinstalled it with Debian 6.2 x86 with just SSH installed.
Basic Information:
Result of /proc/cpuinfo shows 4 cores of processor
